Meet chef Jackie!
Mother of three, grandmother of six, and a professionally trained chef with a degree in Culinary Management, Chef Jackie has had a love for cooking since childhood. What began as an early passion for creating food has grown into a lifelong journey centered around flavor, creativity, and bringing people together.
After embracing a vegan lifestyle, she discovered an entirely new way to express her creativity in the kitchen— reimagining familiar favorites through plant-based ingredients without sacrificing the comfort, flavor, and satisfaction that make food memorable.
At Cali Vegan 707, food is about more than what’s on the plate—it’s about creating an experience. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared with quality ingredients, bold flavors, and a creative approach that welcomes vegans, non-vegans, and the plant-curious alike.
Whether you’re gathering around the table for a special celebration, enjoying a private chef experience, or choosing Cali Vegan 707 to cater your next event, Chef Jackie brings the same passion and care to every experience.
Her goal is simple: to create memorable food that brings people together and proves that plant-based cuisine can be every bit as satisfying, exciting, and delicious as the dish we’ve always loved.
Our story
Cali Vegan 707 was born from love of familiar food, family traditions, and the belief that choosing plant-based shouldn’t mean leaving the flavors you grew up loving behind.
When Chef Jackie embraced a vegan lifestyle, she didn’t stop craving the comforting dishes and soulful flavors that had always been a part of her life. Instead, she challenged herself to recreate them—using plant-based ingredients while keeping the flavor, heart, and satisfaction that made those dishes special in the first place.
What began as a personal journey soon grew into Cali Vegan 707—a way for Chef Jackie to share her love of food through creative, elevated plant-based cuisine.
Today, Cali Vegan 707 brings those flavors to the table through catering, private chef experiences, popups, and special gatherings, creating food meant to be enjoyed, remembered, and shared.
